Our Classic Tee On Site

A visit to Byron Bay with the crew at Well Grounded Building, exploring the shared values of quality craftsmanship, thoughtful construction, and making things that are built to last.

There are some people you meet where, despite working in completely different industries, you find yourself speaking the same language.

We recently spent some time with Guy and the team from Well Grounded at one of their latest projects in Broken Head, NSW. A building company focused on creating healthy homes through natural materials, quality craftsmanship and a thoughtful approach to construction.

Standing amongst timber frames, tools and the dust of a live site, we couldn't help but notice the parallels between what they do and what we do.

While one is building homes and the other is making clothing, both begin with the same question - how do we make something that lasts?

It's a question that seems increasingly rare in a world built around speed, convenience and replacement. Yet it's something the Well Grounded team think about every day. Through the materials they choose, the way they approach a build and the long-term impact of the spaces they create.

It's a mindset we relate to deeply.

At Australian Stitch, every garment passes through the hands of local knitters, dyers, cutters and machinists before it reaches your wardrobe. We think about how a garment feels after the hundredth wear, not just the first.

We think about repairability, durability and whether it deserves a place in somebody's life long term.

The team's choice of workwear reflected that same thinking.

Our Classic Tees have become a staple on building sites across Australia. Not because they're flashy or trend driven, but because they do their job well. They're comfortable, durable and made to handle the realities of everyday work. Covered in dust, worn through long days, washed and worn again.

The way we see it, good products aren't that different from good buildings.

They're made by people who care.
They're built on strong foundations.
And they're designed to stick around.

A big thank you to Guy and the Well Grounded crew for having us on site and sharing a little of what they do.

If you're a business looking for locally made blanks for uniforms, merchandise or team apparel, get in touch. Our tees are available in bulk quantities and can be customised through your preferred printer or embroidery partner.
