Refund policy
At Australian Stitch, we want you to love what you wear. If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to make it easy to sort out. Simply login at https://account.australianstitch.com.au with your email address and lodge your return request with us. Alternatively, you can always email us at support@australianstitch.com.au Before you reach out please note the following returns policy:
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, wrongly described, or different from what you ordered - we’re so sorry! We’ll happily replace it or issue a refund. In these cases, return shipping will be covered by us.
Change of Mind or Size Exchange
Not the right fit or just changed your mind? No problem! We’re happy to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit, provided the following conditions are met:
- Items must be returned in original sale condition - unworn, unwashed, and with all labels attached.
- Returns must be free from animal hair and odour. Unfortunately, we can’t process refunds or exchanges for items that aren’t in resellable condition.
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for change-of-mind or size exchanges. We’ll cover the cost to send your replacement item out to you.
- Return requests have to be lodged within 14 days from the date of purchase.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- PLEASE NOTE: for hygiene reasons we do not accept the return of socks or underwear.
Sale items
Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Please choose carefully, and reach out if you’re unsure about sizing or details before ordering - we’re always happy to help.
Shipping Costs
- Return shipping for faulty or incorrectly supplied items will be covered by us. An Australia Post shipping label will be sent to you after we have approved your return request.
- Return shipping for change-of-mind or size exchanges is at the customer’s expense.

Go to Orders and locate the order you'd like to return

Select Manage → Request Return and follow the steps
You’ll receive an email as soon as we’ve received your return to confirm your refund or replacement.
